What is a HEDYLOGUS and what does it do?!

HEDYLOGUS is a contemporary creative writing gallery.

HEDYLOGUS (more commonly spelled “Hedylogos”) is the Greek god and personification of sweet-talk and flattery.

He was part of Aphrodite's procession, and one of the seven Erotes, a group of winged love deities, along with Eros, Anteros, Hermaphroditus, Himeros, Hymen, and Pothos.

We consider writing a love language, of course, and much like how an art gallery (art being another love language) we wanted to provide an art gallery-like experience to discovering, appreciating, and showcasing creative writing and writers, in exhibition-style format.

HEDYLOGUS Gallery looks forward to having both themed and writer-centric exhibitions that bring some excellent voices to writing enthusiasts, as well as give these talented authors a venue through which to broaden their audiences.

If you write fancy, or fancy yourself a writer, feel free to send in your short, creative work through the SUBMISSIONS button at the top right of the heading of each HEDYLOGUS web page.

If you have any other inquiries you can email them to kerryc@kacnyc.com
